The high chair was a big hit.
Good base of operations – world domination to follow – and extra comfy for naptime (I moved him, I promise).
The sweet potato was less popular.
Things no one tells you as a new parent: babies have a gag reflex, did you know? And anything thicker than milk sets it off. Armed with this knowledge, we sallied forth again at dinnertime with pureed apple, much smaller spoonfuls and a killer aeroplane noise. Worked like a charm, but took f o r e e e e v e r.
